I just buy two es55 speakers and sounds great on yamaha rx-v6a in bi-amp, now wait for es35c central for movies. It are great budged speakers. Fat bass from small speakers 😊

S4 vs S4D, from Polk's site in the Q&A section: [...]and thank you for your interest. The SD4 is an online exclusive-no sonic differences between the two soundbars. The grill color is slightly different, with the S4D grill adding a touch of grey, and the S4 grill is Black. The S4D does not come with an Optical cable. In other words, they're the same speakers, but S4D is hugely discounted and appears to only be sold on Polk's website.

Insuperable best sound

I got some this year. I definitely recommend a clean, stout 100wpc or more to power them. 200wpc would be better. Slight toe-in, and they actually out perform my former Vandersteen 2ce signatures for half the cost. Detail, slam, dynamic and s smooth transparency are all there. All day listenable with zero fatigue. They are articulate and full range.

I've had mine for over a year and it has very poor sound quality! I had a cheaper Vizio before and it was way better. This was too expensive for the quality

Worst video ever, I hate Polk because it didn’t automatically connect and I’ve tried to manually connect the subwoofer to the sound bar.

Why do they always put that stupid cloth around the speaker? It wouldn't take much to destroy that cloth, like a pet or whatever. Just give us a nice strong plastic protective cover. Good review btw,thanks!

Would never recommend one of t hese. Have 2 of them and both have had constant issues disconnecting, loosing sound, shutting on and off. Worst soundboard I have have ever had. I have spent dozens of hours in the past year troubleshooting and trying to reconnect the units without sucess. They are 2 giant paperweights at rhis point
